How to Dispose Of Medical Waste

First, Sanitary landfill method
Sanitary landfill method is the garbage buried in the ground, through the long-term decomposition of microorganisms, so that it decomposes into harmless substances. Without anti-seepage measures, a variety of toxic substances, pathogens and radioactive substances will infiltrate into the soil with rainwater, and harmful substances will enter the human body through the food chain, endangering human health. Therefore, the sanitary landfill needs to be scientifically selected, and the impermeable layer is laid with clay, high-density polyethylene and other materials, and the landfill gas collection and output pipeline must be set up. Therefore, the landfill treatment method must be very careful, and strict pretreatment of medical waste must be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions.

Two, high temperature incineration method
Incineration treatment is a chemical process of deep oxidation. Under the action of high-temperature flame, medical waste in the incineration equipment will be transformed into residue and gas through three stages of drying, ignition and incineration. The sources of infection and harmful substances in medical waste can be effectively destroyed in the incineration process. Incineration technology is suitable for all kinds of infectious medical waste, incineration requires high and stable furnace temperature in the incinerator, good oxygen mixing conditions, enough gas stay time, and other conditions, at the same time, the final emissions of flue gas and residue for harmless disposal.

Three, shredder with high pressure steam sterilization method
The principle of the pressure steam sterilization treatment method is that the medical waste runs for more than 20 minutes under the technological conditions of high temperature and high pressure. The pressure steam penetrates the inside of the object, and the microbial protein is killed by coagulation and denaturation. It should be noted that medical waste must be crushed when using this treatment method. The crushing can be done before or after cooking. However, according to the Technical Specifications for High-temperature Steam Concentrated Treatment of Medical Waste published by the State Environmental Protection Bureau, the size of the crushed waste shall not be greater than 50mm. This method is not suitable for the treatment of pathological waste, such as human tissues and animal carcasses, and the treatment efficiency of drug and chemical waste is not high either.

Four, pyrolysis method
Pyrolysis is a process in which the organic matter in garbage is heated and distilled in the absence of oxygen or anoxia by taking advantage of the instability of the organic matter in the garbage. The organic matter is pyrolyzed and condensed to form various gases, liquids and solids, from which fuel oil, grease and gas are extracted.

Five, chemical disinfection method
The essence of chemical disinfection method is to mix the broken medical waste with a certain concentration of disinfectants (sodium hypochlorite, peracetic acid, glutaraldehyde, ozone, etc.), and ensure that it has enough contact area and time with disinfectants. In the process of disinfection, organic matter will be decomposed and microorganisms will be killed. The maximum contact between disinfectant and medical waste is the premise of ensuring the treatment effect. Through the use of shear type crushing equipment to improve the degree of fragmentation, to ensure that the disinfectant can penetrate it. Chemical disinfection methods are suitable for the treatment of liquid medical waste and pathological waste and have recently been gradually used for the treatment of medical waste that cannot be disinfected or sterilized by heating or wetting.

Six, Microwave disinfection treatment method
Microwave disinfection technology is a new medical waste treatment technology, but it is still limited to small batch, intermittent treatment of medical waste, can not meet the requirements of large, continuous treatment of medical waste.
